I am setsuna world map5/3/2023 ![]() Talking to this man will initiate a medium difficulty boss that you will need to face with Nidr alone.Go south once in Forgotten Shore until you see a man. Travel to Forgotten Shore, south of Serendale.Enter the northeastern house and talk to Freyja for a scene. Put Nidr in your party and go to Purikka. After defeating the boss, the Spritnite and the trophy will be yours.I also suggest upgrading your best weapon to the max. The boss is rather slow, so having Battlecry, Commanding Wave or any Spritnite that gives you speed and defense will give you two turns for every turn the boss has, so you can hit him then heal yourself. Level 45-50 is highly recommended for this fight and future ones. Problem is, you'll fight against him with only Endir. Entering this area will start a fight against a medium difficulty boss. Go to the south of the map and look for a little island with a house on it called Snowfield House. The monster King Pengy is also here see Monster Slayer. In the end of this area is the final altar. Fly to Hymncott island, directly south of Nive, and enter Hymncott Forest.Go to Morbrise Mountain for the second altar and a scene.Proceed to Serendale and go to the northeast altar (black area on the ground) for a scene, then get out.Talk to the first man you see and he'll give you a letter. Put Endir in your party and go to Nive Harbor. This sidequest opens just before facing the final boss in the final dungeon. Remember that the more Fluxations a spritnite has, the slower it gets more, so switch them around for new spritnites. The max Fluxations that can happen in a single battle are 9, so don't waste time on longer battles. Use Command spritnites with Momentum such as Aura, Realization, Enthunder, Provoke, Prayer and so on. Then, go to Dazzshire Woods and fight any Pengy there. The fastest way of getting 200 Fluxations that I've found is to equip all three characters with Talismans that have Boosts Fluxation Rate as Bonus Effect, then eat any food that further boosts Fluxation, such as Fried Dumpling Eggplant. If you are lucky, you'll Fluxate one Support spritnite. Equip only one Command spritnite and every Support spritnite you can (you need at least two Support spritnites equipped for Fluxating to be possible), then use that Command in battle with Momentum. These are the only way of Fluxating Support spritnites. To Fluxate Support spritnites, you need a Talisman with Support Bonus as Flux Bonus. If you are lucky, at the end of the battle you'll see that Cyclone has Fluxated, and now Cyclone has Tech Power as bonus, so Cyclone will do more damage now. Then, while in battle, he uses Cyclone with Momentum. ![]() For example:Įndir has a Talisman with Tech Power. If you have a Talisman with Flux Bonus MP Consumed, and that Command spritnite gets Fluxated, then that Command spritnite will have MP Consumed as bonus. These Flux Bonuses fuse into the spritnite if a Fluxation happens. To enable Fluxations of Command and Support spritnites you need two things: use Momentum mode on that tech while in battle, and a Talisman. Momentum mode makes the techs stronger in battle, but also sometimes mutate them. You can also open the once-locked silver chests, as they have the best weapons and talismans of the game.įluxation is the result of using Momentum on techs. In this step you'll need to grind a few levels, finish every sidequest and defeat all the optional bosses. By using this portal, you'll unlock the sidequests of every party member and the all optional dungeons on the overworld. Just before facing the final boss (you'll know when), a portal will open that will act as a shortcut to the entrance/end. I highly recommend grinding a few levels once you get the airship it's rather fast and 20 more levels can speed up the rest of the platinum. Depending of your use of Momentum/Fluxation, you'll get a few extra trophies on this step. Enjoy the game and don't worry about trophies too much. Be careful with extra strong enemies that are on every zone you'll cross, as they can defeat you easily the first time you go through that area. Do not sell green materials, as they are used to make food recipes. Fight every encounter you see, sell materials to get new Spritnites, get every shiny spot you see, buy better weapons and talismans. ![]() Throughout the guide, I will be referencing it often, you so might want to have a copy open.Īdvance through the game but stop before you reach the final boss. The game doesn't have an overworld map, so use this one created by Tyndis and Netelus (there's a larger one in the forum guide): If you like old-style RPGs, you'll like I am Setsuna. The battle system is similar to Chrono Trigger and the OST is fantastic. I am Setsuna is very similar to RPGs like Final Fantasy III or IV on Nintendo DS. Welcome to I am Setsuna, a new RPG from Square Enix based on RPGs of the SNES era.
